Apple removes iPod Touch 4 from Apple store and introduces lower cost iPod Touch 5.

Apple have dropped the iPod Touch 4 from the Apple store and introduced a lower cost iPod Touch 5. The new model iPod Touch 5 no longer has a rear facing camera, has 16GB of storage and is priced at $249.

What I find interesting is in the past a new unit may have been announced as part of the World Wide Developer conference in a couple of weeks, but instead the model has been introduced discreetly according to the press.
