The green bar is easily cleared each time you open the document by clicking on the icon that appears on its far left.

DeleteThanks for taking the time to comment. As you say this hides the green bar but as I've mentioned I've not found a full solution.
Having to hide the green bar for every document, which wasn't previously required, appears to be a bug introduced by Adobe. Hopefully they'll provide an update.
